Border Regional Debating Competition

The Border Regional Debating Competition will be held once at again at Catholic College, Wodonga on Monday 20th and Friday 31st October.

The training day (for Year 7 and 8 debaters) will be on Monday 20th October at Catholic College Wodonga from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This session will cover the basics of debating, discuss methods of preparation and practice for the competition, and provide an opportunity to ask questions of DAV representatives, as well as a chance to practice debating skills. Those schools unable to attend the day will be sent a debating guide and a resource guide including resources for the topics. The draw and topics will be released on this day.

The debating competitions, for both the Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 divisions will be on Friday 31st October, at Catholic College Wodonga. The debating day will run from 9am until 2:30pm.
